Signed, limited edition #/295.

The size of the print is A3 including the white border. All my Ltd edition prints include a plain paper margin where I, the artist, sign and number each piece by hand.

Giraffe Stars is one of a series of Ltd edition prints I am releasing, based on paintings created as first draft illustrations for a book I've been developing for many years, working title Animal Stars. How do different animals see the stars? Animal Stars explores this question through pictures, verse and story. I'm still working on the text for this book and planning for an indie-publication date in mid-2020.

DETAILS :

Landscape A3: 29.7 x 42.0cm, or 11.69 x 16.53 inches. The printed surface of your Ltd edtiion print will not go the absolute edgeof the piece of paper it is printed on, as space must be left to sign and number the print. To maintain the width to height ratio of the original painting, edge margins will vary. However, we'll aim for the best balance between the maximum print surface area, and an aesthetically pleasing postitioning for the print within the standard paper size.

Longevity of prints / printing process, paper quality and weight

All my Ltd Edition Prints are Glicee prints in runs of #/295, signed and numbered by hand by me, the artist. Ltd Edition Prints are printed on acid-free, museum/archive quality - (Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Matt FineArt smooth 308 gsm, 100% Cotton, white 308gsm paper). This paper is beautiful to the touch and has been selected as it is great for holding colour.
